The Level 1 Coach Course (formerly L200) focuses on player welfare and the technical skills to play safely – specifically the tackle and the scrum. The course requires coaches to demonstrate effective coaching techniques, taught in the course including teaching through games, technical skill development through progressions, and collaborative coaching.
This course is suitable for all experience levels and will likely comprise a mix of veteran players/coaches and those new to the game – all benefiting from a free exchange of ideas/experience.
World Rugby / USA Rugby Level 1 Coach Certification Course (formerly Level 200).
Prerequisites:
Registration with USA Rugby / USA Youth & High School Rugby;
Completion of World Rugby Rugby Ready Course;
Register for the course in Rugby Xplorer under the Learning Center.
