Now is the time to plan for college and rugby can be a great avenue to higher education and expanded opportunities. There are hundreds of collegiate rugby programs around the country, offering wonderful higher education opportunities for graduating seniors. The number of scholarships available for rugby players is growing, which offers great possibilities for those students looking to play at a higher level. Look below for information on college rugby programs, and visit the USA Rugby College Rugby page.
One of our goals for 2023 is to improve our relationships with the wider high school rugby community, it’s coaches, programs and the student athletes to show them that there is a pathway to Dartmouth and that high performance rugby and an Ivy League education can co-exist.
Dartmouth has extremely competitive admissions, with successful applicants scoring at or above 1480 in the SAT and 33 in the ACT. Dartmouth meets 100% of the demonstrated financial need for undergraduates. See the attached brochure that has more information about our program and Dartmouth College. If you or your student athletes are looking to pair a world class education with an elite college rugby experience we want to hear from you.
A great way to experience Hanover, New Hampshire is to attend the US Collegiate Development Camp at Dartmouth, hosted each year on campus over the summer. The US Collegiate Development Camp aims to connect student-athletes to the university experience, to introduce athletes to future potential coaches, and to set the framework for managing the student admissions process. Camp is open to all boys age 14-19 and will be held this year on Tuesday June 27th- Friday June 30th, 2023. See the brochure below for the camp and more information can be found at https://uscdcamp.com.
We look forward to connecting with you. Please let us know if you have any questions .
